Artist box set containing 3 works (7 different versions available): Chromogenic prints, format 20 x 30 cm, inserted between two sheets of 4 mm and 2 mm plexiglass. Each work is numbered and signed on the back by the artist. The box sets are custom-made and come with a red case.

Coffret Val d’Hiver #4 is an artist’s limited edition of 30 copies – 2011

This work is tied to those “Polaroid” memories from my teenage years, inextricably linked with the magic of the mountains and winter sports. Over the course of three winters, I wandered the mountains, trying to re-find my personal “icons.” Perhaps we all have these same images stored in our heads, in common?

Coffret de 3 œuvres (7 versions différentes de coffret) : tirages chromogéniques, insérés entre entre deux plaques de plexiglass 4 mm et 2 mm. Chaque œuvre est numérotée et signée au dos par l’artiste, format 20 x 30 cm. Coffret habillé d’un écrin rouge.

Cette histoire renoue avec la mémoire des « polaroïds » de mon adolescence liés à la magie de la montagne et du sport. Durant trois hivers, j’ai déambulé dans ces montagnes pour y chercher mes icônes. Peut-être sont elles ces mêmes images que nous avons tous en tête, en commun ?
